Jakarta - Ledakan di Masjid Polresta Cirebon mengakibatkan 1 orang tewas. Orang tewas itu diduga pelaku bom bunuh diri.

"Yang meninggal 1 orang diperkirakan pelakunya sendiri," kata Kapolda Jawa Barat Irjen Pol Suparni Parto saat dihubungi detikcom, Jumat (15/4/2011) pukul 13.20 WIB.

Suparni mengatakan, korban luka sekitar 6-8 orang. "Setengah jam lagi informasinya mungkin bisa saya laporkan lagi," ujarnya.

Bom di masjid tersebut terjadi pukul 12.15 WIB, saat salat Jumat hendak dimulai. Lebih 5 polisi yang terluka dilarikan ke RS Pelabuhan, 500 meter dari TKP.
